At Cadence, regular lessons will only be scheduled after a trial consultation/trial lesson. At the end of this initial session, the teacher will recommend a lesson plan and/or curriculum that best suits the student. The trial lesson will begin after a brief consultation, which will include:

 

• Learning about the student’s past musical instrument lesson experience

• Uncovering the student’s musical interests and goals

• Evaluating the student’s current abilities, skills, and knowledge (transfer students only)

 

If you have already taken private lessons, please bring your music books to the trial lesson.
